What This Is About
This newsletter explores thinking quality and human-AI collaboration in the age of intelligent machines. Where does human value actually live in AI-augmented work? How do we preserve our cognitive capacity while leveraging AI’s power? What does authentic collaboration between human and machine intelligence look like?
They’re urgent challenges for anyone who earns by thinking. Like me.
If you want to think deeply about these questions with someone who’s genuinely curious, welcome.
I’m following my curiosity. Sharing discoveries. And trying to stay human 🤓.
Who This Is For
Consultants, researchers, analysts, designers, software engineers, lawyers, marketers. Anyone who earns by thinking.
You use AI or you’re considering it. You see the potential but worry about over-reliance. You want to preserve your cognitive capacity while using these tools.
If that’s you, this is for you.
Who I Am
I’m Paweł Jarmołkowicz. I’ve spent 20+ years across software engineering, machine learning, startups, and consulting. I’ve founded companies, led innovation teams, built AI products.
I’m researching where human value lives in AI-augmented work because I need to understand it for myself, not just explain it to others. If I can’t figure out how to preserve my thinking quality and authentic ownership while using AI, I have no business teaching others how to do it.
This newsletter documents my research process. The ideas I test here inform The Augmented Mind (working title), my upcoming book on maintaining thinking quality, authentic voice, and intellectual ownership when working with AI.
